No. Do it the right way. Remove door. Remove hardware. Prep surface for painting. Apply two coats. Paint all surfaces -- and edges. You won't regret it.

I love this! I likely would’ve moved the center light fixture and added another to the other side so both would have good overhead lighting, but the privacy afforded from the units, in conjunction with the curtain panels, really makes this one so good. 😊
